Italian Society of Internal Medicine

The Italian Society of Internal Medicine is the oldest scientific society in Italy.

Over the years, its annual national congress has become a key event for staying updated and delving into current topics in Internal Medicine and related specialties.

Aristea has been organizing the national congress as the Core PCO for over 18 years. During this time, we have collaborated with SIMI to experiment with new organizational formats and to engage young internists who, in increasing numbers, have enthusiastically and interactively participated in all sessions.

During the 2020-2021 pandemic, we contributed to developing new gathering methods by transforming the in-person congress into a virtual event, with over 50 hours of live streaming.
