IIW 2026 in Salzburg

The International Institute of Welding (IIW) Annual Assembly & International Conference, held in Salzburg from 12 to 17 July 2026, , is recognised as one of the world’s leading forums for research, innovation and international collaboration in welding and joining technologies.

Aristea collaborated with IIW in the planning and delivery of the Congress, contributing its extensive experience in the management of large-scale international scientific and technical meetings involving highly complex organisational frameworks and a diverse global audience.

The project required the coordination of multiple operational and stakeholder workstreams, bringing together the needs of the Institute’s governance, scientific programme, technical commissions, delegates and industry partners within a single integrated delivery framework.

Through a structured approach based on careful planning, process management and close collaboration with all stakeholders, Aristea contributed to creating an environment that encouraged scientific exchange, strengthened the relationship between academia and industry, and supported the continued development of the international IIW community.
