One Step Closer

“One Step Closer” was an event held in Como on October 28 and 29, 2022, designed to take a step forward for science, medicine, and nephrology.

The inspiring opening by Professor Salvatore Mangione from Thomas Jefferson University revisited the pivotal moments that shaped medicine, bringing us closer to the future.

Moderated and hosted by journalist Annalisa Manduca, the event provided an in-depth discussion on new therapeutic opportunities for patients with chronic kidney disease.

“One Step Closer” also represented an eco-sustainable experience: all setups were made with low-impact materials, and paper usage was minimized.
