One Step Closer (Como, October 28-29, 2022), an event unconditionally supported by AstraZeneca: a step forward for science, medicine and nephrology. With the emotional opening of Professor Salvatore Mangione of Thomas Jefferson University we retraced the steps that changed history of medicine and we have been closer to the future: the event, chaired by journalist Annalisa Manduca, was a discussion on new therapeutic opportunities for patients with CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease). One Step Closer was also a green experience: all the installations were created with low environmental impact material and paper saving was maximized.
